Adding Team Secrets as Jira Custom field

This article explains how Jira admins can add fields protected by Team Secrets to their Jira projects

Please note: As of June 2021, Custom fields are only available on Team Secrets for Jira Data Center. We hope to bring it to the cloud soon depending on customer demand - please contact us for product roadmap inquiries.

1. In the 'Jira Administration' menu, go to 'Issues'.

2. In the left sidebar, go to 'Custom fields', and click on 'Add Custom field'.

3. In the popup that appears, search for 'Secret Field' and configure the name and description of the custom field as shown to the right.

 

4. Select the issue screens you want the field to be added to, and click 'Update'. You should be good to use the custom field on your Jira issues now. Happy encrypting!!
